Dr. Flick Announces Transition from Clinical Practice to Advancing Medical Innovation
After more than 45 years of dedicated service to patients, Dr. Flick has made the thoughtful decision to retire from active clinical practice. While he is no longer seeing patients, this transition marks not an ending—but an evolution of his life’s work.
Throughout his career, Dr. Flick has been deeply committed to improving human health through careful listening, clinical excellence, and innovation. As he enters this next chapter, he will continue to apply his extensive medical experience to the development, evaluation, and refinement of advanced medical technologies designed to support the body’s natural healing processes.
Dr. Flick’s current focus includes the design and testing of technologies utilizing precisely tuned magnetic fields, plasma fields, and laser-based energy systems. These approaches aim to support a wide range of medical applications, including research into cellular signaling, growth factor activation, and regenerative processes through combined field-based methodologies.
In addition, Dr. Flick is exploring emerging research that examines how quantum-inspired design principles may interact with the body’s biological field dynamics—work that seeks to expand our understanding of human health, resilience, and recovery.
Dr. Flick remains encouraged by the future of medicine and is grateful for the trust, relationships, and shared journeys formed with patients over the decades. He looks forward to contributing to this next frontier of research with the same care, curiosity, and integrity that have defined his career.

Dr. Flick extends his sincere gratitude to the patients, families, and colleagues who have placed their trust in him over the years. Thank you for allowing him to be part of your care and your journey.
Current Clinical Research Studies
SpinField Disc Technologies is currently enrolling participants in the following clinical studies evaluating field-based technologies and their potential effects on health and function.
SpinField Diabetic Study
This study examines the potential impact of a wearable SpinField wrist band on glucose regulation. Participants are asked to wear the wrist band continuously (24/7) for a period of three months. Preliminary clinical findings have demonstrated improvements in glucose (blood sugar) regulation.
SpinField Knee Pain Study
This study evaluates the application of SpinField Discs for knee discomfort and mobility. Participants apply two SpinField Discs to one knee for a period of one month. Preliminary clinical findings have demonstrated reduced knee pain and improved range of motion.
